.DISCUSSION...
Considerable cloudiness today but with some peeks of sunshine.
Mainly dry weather is expected, but a few brief light showers are
possible toward evening across western and northern MA. Highs
will be in the middle 70s to the lower 80s. Light southeast winds
become south at 10 to 15 mph this afternoon with some gusts of
20-25 mph possible. Minimum afternoon relative humidity values
will drop to between 55 and 65 percent...but a bit higher across
parts of the Cape and Islands.
.Outlook...Tonight through Sunday...
A cold front will then approach the region tonight and Thursday
with increasing humidity and gusty southwest winds developing. A
brief round of showers is expected tonight into early Thursday
especially across northern MA with the cold front. Plenty of
sunshine returns later Thursday with gusty west winds and highs
reaching well into the 80s with a bit of humidity too...
especially the first half of the day.
Dry and much less humid air works into the region Friday and
Saturday as high pressure builds into the region. This will be
followed by a warm front which may bring a brief round of
scattered showers late Saturday night into early Sunday.
