.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather continues today with much warmer high temperatures in
the 80s and 90s.

Minimum relative humidity values fall to between 27 and
40 percent for the majority of southern New England, with Cape
Cod and the Islands remaining 40 to 50 percent.

Dewpoints surge Wednesday as chances for afternoon showers,
possibly thunderstorms, begin to increase each day. Minimum RH
values are expected to increase to 50 to 60 percent across the
region Wednesday.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday...

Chances for daily afternoon shower and thunderstorm chances
increase through at least Friday, although there is low
confidence in the potential areal coverage of the storms. A
warming trend is underway through the end of the week with daily
highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Expecting minimum relative
humidity values to continue increasing, between 50 and 70 percent
through Friday, before lower dewpoints return.
